Who is this site for? |
This site is for plan participants of employer-sponsored retirement
programs administered by ING. Signing up with ING Retirement Plans will
provide you with access to two separate account sites:
|
- ING Access - where you can check your
retirement account balances, make changes to your account, view current
and historical investment information and much more.
- Account Gateway - where, on one single
page, you can access information from multiple online accounts (both
ING and non-ING accounts).

|
Is sign up required?
Yes. In order to access your personal account information online, you must
first sign up with us. It's a one-time process that only takes a few minutes
of your time. |

How to sign up
Sign up is a three-step process:
- Step 1 - Enter your Profile Information:
· Social Security Number
· Personal Identification Number (PIN) *
· E-mail address: Enter a valid e-mail address where you can
be contacted.
- Step 2 - Create your Login Information:
· User ID (see Choosing a User ID)
· Password: Your Password is case sensitive. (see Choosing a
Password)
- Step 3 - Choose a Security question and answer it:
· Security Phrase / Question
· Security Answer

If any page reappears with "blue alert message(s)"
at the top of the page, follow the instructions and repeat this step until
you reach the Sign up Confirmation page. |

A confirmation of your sign up will be sent to the email address
you provided during sign up. |
|
* Note: Your PIN is different and separate from your new Password.
If you are a new customer, instructions on what to enter as your initial
PIN are contained in your enrollment or new account materials. If you can't
remember your PIN, you can request your PIN by mail online in step 1 of registration or by contacting
our Customer Service Center at 1-800-262-3862 (Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. -
9 p.m. EST). When you telephone Customer Service,
do not attempt to enter your SS# and PIN - Select (1) for English or (2)
for Spanish, press '0' and the '#' key or simply stay on the line and wait
for a representative to answer. |

Choosing a User ID
Choose a User ID you can easily remember. The following requirements help
ensure that your User ID is unique and secure. NOTE: If you try to sign
up with a User ID that does not meet these requirements or that is already
taken, you will be prompted to try again.
- Your User ID must be 6 - 50 characters in length and may contain both
letters and numbers.
- Your User ID may NOT contain any special characters (e.g. #, $, %,
@, _).
- Your User ID is not case sensitive.

Choosing a Password
/ Password Tips
Having a secure password is especially important in order to keep your personal
financial information confidential. The following requirements and tips
help ensure that your password is not compromised:
Requirements:
- Your Password must be 8 - 50 characters in length and MUST contain
at least one letter and one number.
- Your Password may NOT contain any special characters (e.g. #, $, %,
@, _).
- Your Password is case sensitive. Please be aware of this fact when
entering it during login.

Tips:
- Do not use common words as passwords.
- Do not base your password on personal information that is publicly
available.
- Include a healthy mix of letters and numbers.
- Select a password that you can remember but is hard to guess for
others.
- Change your password periodically and whenever you suspect that it
is not secret.
- Do not share your password in any form - even with ING employees.
- Always log out when you are finished using our account access site.

What to do if you forget
your User ID
If you've already signed up and forgotten your User ID, contact an ING Customer
Service Representative at 1-800-262-3862 (Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.EST). Our representatives will ask you for the
Security Phrase / Question you created during sign up. If you answer correctly,
you will be provided with your User ID. |

What to do if you forget
your Password
In the event you forget your Password, complete the following steps:
- Click on Forgot Your Password? on the Log In screen.
- Enter your User ID and the last four digits of your Social Security
Number and click Submit.
- Enter the answer to your Security Phrase / Question and click Submit.
- Select a new password and re-enter it for verification. Click Submit.
- You will then receive confirmation (both on-screen and via e-mail)
that your password has been successfully changed. To proceed to the
Account Home page, click Continue.
